Assault with a Weapon

On October 5, 2021, shortly before 1:00 am, police responded to a report of an assault at a residence.  A 20-year-old female struck the victim with a glass bottle causing injury that required hospital treatment.  She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today on charges of Assault with a Weapon, and Assault Cause Bodily Harm.

 

Break and Enter to Business

On October 4, 2021, police responded to a report of a break and enter to a business compound in the 1500 block of 1st street N.  Suspects entered the compound between October 1 and October 4 by cutting the fence.  Once inside they forcibly entered a camper being stored there.  It is unknown if anything was taken.  Anyone with information regarding this Break and Enter is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service at 204-729-2345 or https://www.brandon.ca/police-contact/police-contact.

 

IPDA

On October 4, 2021, shortly before 4:00 pm, police responded to a report of a 29-year-old female who was unable to care for herself due to alcohol and drug use.  She was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 

Arrest Warrant

On October 4, 2021, police responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision shortly after 10:00 am in the 600 block of 17th street.  One of the passengers in the vehicle was found to be wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Attend Court.  The 21-year-old female was arrested and released to appear in court on December 6, 2021.

On October 5, 2021, police located and arrested a 37-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Assault.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.
