Theft of Vehicle

On November 3, 2021, shortly before 9:00 pm, police responded to the report of a vehicle theft from the 300 block of 12th street.  Suspects took the vehicle sometime within the previous day.  The vehicle is described as a 2012 red Nissan Centra with Manitoba license KWB 428.

Impaired Operation of Motor Vehicle by Drug

On November 3, 2021, police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident in the 1300 block of 3rd street at approximately 4:30 pm.  No one was injured because of the collision. 

The driver of one vehicle showed signs of impairment upon police arrival and he was arrested.  Investigation revealed he was under the influence of drugs.  The 26-year-old male was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today on a charge of Impaired Operation of Motor Vehicle by Drug and Fail to Comply with Release Order.

On November 3, 2021 at approximately 1:30 pm, police responded to an intoxicated male causing problems at a business in the 900 block of Victoria Ave.  The male suspect left the store, but was located and arrested nearby when he was found yelling at passersby.  The 44-year-old male was in no condition to care for himself, and there was nobody else to care for him, so was lodged at Brandon Police Service to be released when sober.

 

Arrest Warrants

On November 4, 2021 shortly after 3:00 am, police conducted a traffic stop in the 700 block of 10th street.  Two of the occupants were found to be the subject of outstanding arrest warrants.  The 20-year-old female was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court today on charges of Fail to comply with Release Order X2.  The 27-year-old male was the subject of a Parole Revocation Warrant and an outstanding arrest warrant for Possess for the Purpose of Trafficking Meth, and Possess Property Obtained by Crime Proceeds.  He too was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service.  Upon his arrest, he was found to be in possession of Meth, Cannabis, and two canisters of bear mace.  He will appear in court today on both the original charges and additional charges of Possess Prohibited Weapon, and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Meth.

On November 3, 2021, a 19-year-old male attended Brandon Police Service, as he believed there were outstanding charges for his arrest.  He was later released to appear in court on December 6, 2021 on a charge of Fail to Attend Court.

On November 3, 2021, police responded to a report of a disturbance in a business in the 000 block of 10th street shortly after 9:00 pm.  One of the individuals involved was found to have outstanding charges of Fail to Attend Court.  He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court today.

On November 3, 2021, police located and arrested a 46-year-old female on outstanding charges of Fail to attend Court X 3.  She was lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court today.

On November 4, 2021, at approximately 1:00 am, police conducted a vehicle stop in the 300 block of Richmond Ave.  One of the occupants was found to be wanted on outstanding charges of Theft Under $5000, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Fail to Attend Court X2 and Possess Stolen Credit Cards.  The 34-year-old female was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court today.

On November 4, 2021 shortly after 5:00 am, police came across a male known to them, who was the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant.  The 42-year-old male was arrested and later released to appear in court on December 30, 2021 on charges of Fail to Comply with Probation. 

On October 27, 2021, a 17-year-old youth was the subject of a revocation of his Reintegrative Leave Authorization due to a conviction for Robbery with a Weapon and breach of Release Order.  He was located on November 3, 2021, arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service.  He will appear in court today.
