Fail to Comply with Probation

On January 3, 2022, at 9:38 am, police responded to a report of suspicious people inside an apartment building in the 700 block of 10th Street.  One of the individuals, a 38-year-old male, was found to be bound by a no contact order with a female in his presence.  He was arrested and released to attend court on February 7, 2022.

Mischief to Property

On January 3, 2022, at 10:11am, police responded to a report of a female breaking a window at a residence in the 100 block of Franklin Street.  Upon attending the area, Police located the intoxicated 20-year-old suspect.  She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to be released once sober to appear in court on February 28, 2022.  

Stolen Vehicle

On January 3, 2022, at 10:31am, police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 200 block of 4th Street.  The complainant indicated she had loaned her building keys to her neighbor which also included her vehicle keys.  Her keys had not been returned and her vehicle was now missing from the parking lot.  Stolen is a black 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Manitoba license plate GVJ 796.  It has not been recovered.  

Arrest Warrant

On January 3, 2002, at 6:35 pm, Winnipeg Police Service advised they had located and arrested a 57-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding Brandon Police Service charges of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Theft Under $5000.  He was released to appear in court on March 7, 2022.

Breach of Peace

On January 3, 2022, at approximately 7:14 pm, police responded to a report of an intoxicated male refusing to leave an establishment in the 3100 block of Victoria Avenue.  The intoxicated 29-year-old male was located and arrested under the Trespass Act.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service to be released when sober.

Break and Enter to Residence

On January 3, 2022, at 10:22 pm, police responded to a report of a Break and Enter to a residence in the 700 block of 10th Street.  Sometime between 6am and 10pm on this date the suspect gained entry by forcing the front door.  An Acer Laptop, four cellphones and assorted clothing were indicated as stolen.  There is no video surveillance and at this time, no witnesses have been identified.  Anyone with information regarding this B&E is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service at 204-729-2345 or https://www.brandon.ca/police-contact/police-contact.

Fail to Comply with Release Order

On January 4, 2022, at 2:45 am, police responded to a 911 hang up call in the 200 block of 8th Street.  Upon attending to the area, police located an intoxicated 35-year-old female who was bound by an 8pm curfew.  After being arrested she was escourted to the police cruiser at which time she purposefully used her head to smash the rear window.  In addition to being charged with Fail to Comply with Release order, the female suspect was also charged with Mischief to Property Under $5000.  She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to be released once sober to appear in court on February 3, 2022.
