Impaired Driving
At 11:40 AM police conducted traffic stop of a vehicle in the 3800 block of Park Ave. The driver had been observed to be operating the vehicle in an erratic manner. The 18-year-old female driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested onscreen for impaired driving. She later provided two samples of her breathe with reading in excess of the legal limit. She was charged with impaired driving and driving with a blood alcohol content of over .08. She will appear in court on April 12.
Fail to comply with Undertaking
At 2:36 AM today, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Lorne Ave. A passenger of the vehicle was found to be the subject of a release order with a curfew that she was not abiding by. The accused, a 34 year old Brandon female was arrested and later released with a court date of June 10 for failing to a comply with her Undertaking.
Possession of Meth for the Purpose of Trafficking
At approx. 3:00 AM today, police conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle in the 2000 block of Rosser Ave. As a result of the investigation officers seized 80 grams of Meth with an estimated street value of $8000, from within the vehicle. The 34-year-old female from Douglas MB and a 78-year-old male of rural Brandon have been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking Meth. They will appear in court on June 10.
