Possession of a Weapon

On June 3, 2021 shortly after midnight, police located a male pedestrian in the 800 block of Rosser carrying a hatchet contrary to a probation order not to possess any weapons.  The 24-year-old male was arrested and later released to appear in court on August 5, 2021 on charges of Possession of a Weapon and Fail to Comply with Probation.

 

Arrest Warrants

On June 2, 2021, police located and arrested a 46-year-old male on an outstanding arrest warrant.  He was released to appear in court on August 23, 2021 on a charge of Fail to Appear.

On June 2, 2021, police located and arrested a 28-year-old male on an outstanding arrest warrant.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court on a charge of Fail to Comply with Conditional Sentence Order X2.

 

Fail to Comply with Release Order

On June 2, 2021 shortly before 10:00 pm, police responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence.  A 57-year-old male was in the residence and in contact with one of the residents contrary to a Release Order.  He was arrested and later released to appear in court on July 27, 2021.

 

Fail to Comply with Undertaking

On June 3, 2021 at approximately 12:20 am, police responded to a report of a female screaming in the 200 block of 8th street.  Police located the 22-year-old female who was intoxicated, contrary to conditions not to consume alcohol.  She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service due to her intoxication level and will be released when sober to appear in court on August 5, 2021 on a charge of Fail to Comply with Undertaking.

 

Breach of Peace

On June 3, 2021 shortly before 2:00 am, police responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence.  A 13-year-old intoxicate female was trying to fight with others in the home, and her caregivers were unable to prevent her behavior from escalating.  She was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.
