Assault Peace Officer
On August 31, 2021, police responded to a report of an assault of a Correctional Officer at BCC by a 33-year-old male inmate. The officer received minor injuries that did not require medical attention. The inmate was arrested and remains in custody at BCC. He will appear in court today on the charge.
IPDA
On August 31, 2021, at 4:30 pm, police responded to a report of an intoxicated male staggering on the roadway. The 44-year-old male was located near Ashgrove Blvd. As he was in no condition to care for himself, he was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.
Fail to Comply with Release Order
On September 1, 2021, police responded to a report of people drinking in a green space near Riverheights Drive shortly before 4:00 am. Police located a 33-year-old male who was not abiding by his court conditions. He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.
Arrest Warrant
On September 1, 2021, police located and arrested a 28-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Comply with Probation Order. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service due to his intoxication level and will be released once sober to appear in court on a later date.
On September 1, 2021, police responded to a report of a disturbance in a residence at 3:30 am. One of the individuals involved was found to be wanted on outstanding charges. The 38-year-old male was arrested and later released to appear in court on November 22, 2021 on charges of Forcible Confinement, Possess Weapon, Mischief Under and Fail to Attend Court.
Fail to Comply with Undertaking
On September 1, 2021 at 5:00 am, police came across a 36-year-old male pedestrian who was to abide by a curfew. He was arrested and later released to appear in court on November 22, 2021.
