Break and Enter
On September 30, 2021, at 2000 hours, police responded to the 000 block of 18th Street for report of a Break and Enter to a business that had happened prior. The suspect had gained entry by forcing open a second-story window. The stolen items have not yet been confirmed. IPDA
On September 30, 2021, at approximately 1921 hours, police responded to the 1500 block of 26th Street for report of an intoxicated male causing a disturbance. The 39-year-old male was located and arrested. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service to be released once sober.
Breach of Peace
On September 30, 2021, at 2251 hours, police responded to the 400 block of 12th Street for report of a female causing a disturbance. The 42-year-old female was located and found to be intoxicated and aggressive. To prevent further problems, she was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to be released once sober.
On October 1, 2021, at 0013 hours, police responded to the 100 block of 13th Street for report of a male causing a disturbance. His behavior was escalating, and his family was worried for his safety. He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to prevent the continuation of his behaviour.
Driving While Ability Impaired
On October 1, 2021, at 0206 hours, police conducted a traffic stop in the 1100 block of 18th Street North. The 33-year-old female operator was exhibiting signs of intoxication. After providing two roadside samples which resulted in a fail, she was provided with an Immediate Roadside Prohibition.
Fail to Comply with Undertaking
On October 1, 2021, at 0206 hours during the same traffic stop, a 16-year-old male passenger was found to be intoxicated, in possession of an axe and a rifle, and bound by a 10pm – 7am curfew. He was arrested for Fail to Comply with Release Order x4 and lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court this morning.
Arrest Warrant
On October 1, 2021, at 0206 hours as a result of the same traffic stop, police located and arrested a 28-year-old female who was wanted on outstanding charges of Assault Causing Bodily Harm and Fail to Comply with a Release Order. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court this morning.
