Impaired Driving/Refusal

On December 1, 2022, police stopped a vehicle at 18th street N and HWY #1 at approximately 3:00 am.  The 40-year-old male driver displayed signs of intoxication and was arrested; however, he refused to provide a sample of his breath.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will be released once sober to appear in court on December 12, 2022 on charges of Driving While Ability Impaired and Refuse to Provide Sample with Demand.

 

Breach of the Peace

On November 30, 2022, police were flagged down by a motorist near Brandon Police Service.  The driver was having issues with their teenage son, who was intoxicated. The parent requested police intervene.  The 17-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober to prevent his actions from escalating.

On December 1, 2022 shortly after 3:00 am, police responded to a report of an intoxicated male in the area of the 700 block of Rosser Ave.  Others were unable to prevent his actions from escalating.  He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 

Arrest Warrants

On November 30, 2022, a 33-year-old female attended to Brandon Police Service, as she was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to comply with Probation.  She was later released and will appear in court on February 20, 2023.

On December 1, 2022, police located and arrested a 46-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Comply - Sex Offender Information Registry Act.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.

On December 1, 2022, police located and arrested a37-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Attend Court.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.
