Water Supply Annual Report
The City of Brandon owns and operates a public water supply system to supply potable water to its residential, institutional, businesses, industrial and commercial customers. This facility is regulated by Manitoba Water Stewardship to produce potable water under the new Drinking Water Safety Act which was proclaimed into law on January 20, 2004. Manitoba Water Stewardship issued a directive paper called the Regulatory Information for Public Water Systems dated February 2005.
This report will cover all compliance and non-compliance issues within the regulations and will discuss any corrective actions required to bring non-compliance issues within compliance as per the regulations.
