Fleet Services

Fleet Services assists City of Brandon departments with their equipment needs from specification development through to disposal of the unit after it has completed its life with the City of Brandon. Fleet Services also provides maintenance and repair services to other agencies on a cost for service basis.

The equipment fleet is broken into two sections: Fleet Management & Garage.

What is the Fleet Maintenance Section?

• Procurement, Setup and Disposal of Vehicles and Equipment
• Preventative Maintenance (Scheduled Work)
• Repairs (Unscheduled Work) both in shop and field service
• Small Tools Repairs – repair and service gasoline or hydraulic driven small tools
• Welding and Fabrication – repair city owned equipment and facilities and provide fabrication services for special projects
• Support Services – clerical, parts department and fuel management
